Practical Information

Since we love to make life difficult for ourselves, we decided to set this all up in a field, a 15-minute walk from the nearest road… so we had to make some compromises! We’re getting everything ready to give you the best possible welcome, but don’t count on a hot tub or a changing room—it’ll be dry toilets and a wood fire instead… but we promise, you won’t be missing a thing!

French, Slovak, but also English, German, Spanish, or Hebrew… in short, you’ll have plenty of options for learning (or brushing up on) your language skills! Don’t worry, we’ve got everything covered so you can enjoy yourselves and connect with each other during your stay!

You know us—we know our fashion! So, to make sure we’re not the worst-dressed ones in the group, we decided our motto would be… SIMPLICITY! Think comfort and the outdoors first—the main thing is that you don’t end up with your heels stuck in the grass, a goulash stain on your Louis Vuitton bag, or your merino cardigan smelling like smoke 😬

Since we’re inviting you outdoors (weather permitting 🙏), you should also plan for all weather scenarios, including an unexpected downpour! As is often the case in summer, the day can be hot. And as is often the case at high altitudes, the night can be cool.

Hey there, you guys have a lot of questions! We’re bursting with ideas and things are moving along, but so as not to give too much away (or maybe because not everything is ready yet), we’ll send you the program soon… What’s for sure is that you can come as early as midweek to lend a hand, that the secular ceremony will take place on Saturday afternoon after a potluck picnic, and that the day after the wild party, we’ll get together for lunch 😉
